Did you play in the Black & White stripes? I still remember the day when we got that new kit, thought we were world beaters, unfortunately Park Junior School & Bunny Brown thought different.Hawthorn played in black and White stripes aka West Brom from back in the day (I think)Just a bit of pedantry, Warwick. When I was at Hall Cross Comp in the 80s (the first year the grammar school became a comp), there was a t**t of a Geography teacher called Mr Round. He was about 4ft 6 and was a league linesman. It used to really bother me that a nob like him knew anything about football.

Surprising, given how the school pretty much ignored any sport that wasn't rugby or hockey
