Perhaps the flat atmosphere at home games also has an effect? Difficult to work out. Not for the first time though at home this season, our opponents kicked off and then proceeded to spend the next 15 or 20 minutes dominating possession and camped in our half. This makes the atmosphere flat and sets the energy feel on the pitch and around the ground.

When do we get at teams from the off GM? When do WE stamp our home authority on visiting teams and get the crowd up for it straight away?

the club telling the stewards to put ppl in their seats instead of where they would normally be (stood up at back of south stand around the drum) hindered the atmosphere massively. Hopefully it won’t be like that again. Should be able to stand on the steps behind the railings imo like it has been ever since the south stand went unreserved imo.

We do miss a few characters that go and take charge of the game. I don’t think at times the manager has got the results that the improvement would then show up. We do still look lightweight but we have added bits of quality.

Martin looks a good player, Griffiths looks potentially good. The left back Jackson is promising. Seaman once he is fully fit will be a good player. Odubeko badly needs a goal to get him going, he is doing ok but there is more to come.

I still think this side could just about stay up. We have to have the mentality of when we lose to a better side, then just move onto the next game. The games we have left, the players will only get fitter. There are a few options. We need to play to our strengths, we cannot play long ball so don’t try to.
