I really hope some posters are hanging their heads in shame.
The way some of our players were vilified and written off without being given a chance was disgraceful. Gardner was in many posters eyes one of the worst players to ever pull on shirt-it was obvious he wasn’t fit and being played out of position. Olowu was a panic signing and would waste wages. Mitchell a third choice signing for the sake of it.
Really pleased that they are now getting decent comments as we now look a much better team with these in

I'll hold my hands up regarding Gardner. I thought he was abysmal but since getting up to a decent fitness level he's been an absolute revelation. I'm never happier than when someone proves me wrong by being better than I expected!

Gardner has looked a bit better but I still don’t think he’s looked great. Looking ok in a poor team isn’t a great reference I don’t think. I certainly wouldn’t be looking to offer him a new deal based on looking ok in the last few games. He’s technically decent that makes him stand out a bit but there’s no space for 4 30+ year old centre midfielders in the squad next season with Rowe, Clayton and potentially Bostock.

I think I agree with that. Last few games he has been the only one to show a bit of composure (whilst also getting caught out a few times) so he's bound to look half decent. We can do better regardless of what league we are in IMO

In all honesty with the turnover of players we have had we could of done with a pre-season but when fighting relegation and the season half way through they have had to learn a new style on the fly and I feel we are now starting to see signs of a team with players reaching fitness and having a bit of confidence long may it continue.

If Gardner isn’t signed up for next season, I think we should be exploring the possibility of signing him up for another season.
