Honestly curious to see how people see things. Lots of contrasting views.

Perhaps you could add ... let him return to his U18 role where he was doing a decent job (according to some in the know)

In fact he didn't want the big Job I was told as he had job security there but knew he was "at risk" with the top job

It is perhaps indicative of the clubs reservations about him being a success that the U18’s are currently running with a temporary manager.

He's had a good chance to impress and he has come up way too short. All the reasons bandied around about injuries and fitness issues can't cover up the fact that the squad he's had and the players hes brought in have just not been anything like a cohesive unit, if every man and his dog in the physios room was back on the paddock we would still be playing the turgid and none discript lump it forrad game that has done us absolutely no favours whatsoever.

We needed a new broom after the disaster that was Mr Moore, what we got was the guy who interviewed the best!! and was already on the payroll, ie, the cheap option.

We had experienced managers applying for the post and we gave them the brush off, probably wanted paying the going rate?

What we needed was a a change of attitude brought into the club, after being dumped by Moore, we just made do and mend with what we had, we are now and for the foreseeable going to reap the none rewards that decision has brought us.

If the board want to run the club on a shoestring then we WILL find our level but it will be in three seasons time in the National League, NORTH.

Nevermind i'll still be there , some nice new grounds to visit!

Danumdon, you prediction about where we might be in three years time might not be as wild as some might think.
There are currently six former FL clubs in that league.

The way things are being run with no ambition and going backwards in almost everything, it makes us a good candidate to drop through the leagues. We can be self sufficient in the Northern East counties league.

It needs to be realised how serious the situation is. We are sleep walking towards going below where we started. Hard work being unravelled by lack of interest in doing something about it.

I would go with that Wolfe

Let him go back to the youth set up

I actually wonder how much the club cajoled him into applying.  He seemed adamant he didn’t want it and then applied having been asked to.

It all seemed a little strange.

117 votes cast and you say pass it to the board? What is the average gate of home supporters this season?

Over 500 on a Facebook poll as well with similar results think it’s quite obvious what the fans want to see

Sorry for the usual pedantry, mate, but there are actually nine.

Polls are a useful indicator but cast iron not guaranteed to be right.
In the off topic section on here people quote what a poll of a few thousand people have said and that is supposed to be representative of how sixty million people will vote.

I’ve just had another look and had forgotten about Gateshead from way back and Bostons brief stay.
Who was the other one.

This kind of backs up TCs point even more.

With a much higher number of participants usually in thousands, and I eould guarantee a good number of those on here voted on book of faces too, a truly representative figure

So u believe that results of this poll are in correct ?
I can’t see it changing much even if u asked 10000 rovers fans mate 100 or 1000 the percentage usually stay the same bud its a proven fact

Lies, damned lies, and statistics" is a phrase describing the persuasive power of statistics to bolster weak arguments. It is also sometimes colloquially used to doubt statistics used to prove an opponent's point.
