I never let the ball influence my prediction in the PvO, Hound. It wouldn't be fair.

I can tell by your table position in PvO that you don’t take insider knowledge very seriously matey.

I'll have you know that I've had back to back victories for the last two games, owd lad. The first time this season that's happened. Poor, I know, but it's still more than Rovers have done (in league games anyway)! Watch out for me (and Rovers) rising to the top where we belong, next year!

If Rovers win every game then I will win the competition.   :byebye: :byebye: :byebye:

I have been battling with CLH  at the top of the table for the last couple of seasons Wolfie but this time around I have voted with my heart rather than the head and my points tally has reflected that.
I am hoping to come with a late charge in the new year but six points is a lot to try and get back in the PvO.

I am not going to mention a certain fact ............

my information is that with  5 minutes of the 46th match of the season to go the wendies will move into second place ( the automatic promotion spot) for the first time behind Wigan  .

I am that far behind in the P & O that I asked Santa  :santa: for a pair of binoculars for Christmas  so I can actually see who is top of the P & O

I have information from an old crystal ball lying in the cupboard, that there will be an eighteen goal swing, and rovers will stay up on goal difference

May I suggest that your old crystal ball needs a new PCB.

i thought i would find out the odds on Wednesday making the top 2   12/1

and looking at he fixtures there is some mileage in that

i have looked for a pre-christmas league table and all i can find is December 11th to see who was where when BB started this thread and the laughable at the time prediction was made

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59529442

this is after  Wednesday beat Crewe 2-0 away and we beat Shrewsbury 1-0 at home

The penny will drop in a minute that all December 11th matches were reversed on Easter Monday.

They do do this trick at least once a season for what its worth.  Sunderland fans must have loved travelling the trip down to Plymouth ( perhaps Akinfenwas brother "programmes the fixture computer")

from that league table you can see Wednesday were miles off Rotherham and Wigan and MK were even farther behind.

If Wednesday can win all 3  matches   Wycombe (A) Fleetwood (A) & Portsmouth (H)

then assuming Rotherham have a better goal difference - Rotherham need 5 points

they play Oxford (H) Sunderland (A) & Gillingham (A)

I don't expect Rotherham to beat Oxford ---  and don't expect them to win at Sunderland  so perhaps they won't get 5  points

As for Mk they simply ( he says !!!) have to beat Morecombe (H) and Plymouth (A)

so Wednesday suddenly have a real chance of hitting 2nd spot with 5 minutes of the last match to go

trouble is my source didn't say if there were any goals in injury time  :suicide:

I thought that my crystal ball was faulty, and then I realised that it was a snow globe.

The bottom end of the table hasn’t altered much has it?
