And Burton must be poorer at corners than we are.

The Burton number ten took all the left wing corners, inswingers with his right foot.
They were all superb deliveries into the danger area and caused us lots of problems.
I am amazed that they didn’t score from one of them.

They were good corners but not as good as Ian Harte took for Reading against us, they are still the best corners I’ve ever seen

Agreed, they were truly incredible.  And we also didn’t lose that game either.

Also got away with the ball not touching the quadrant every time. I don’t get what advantage they get lol

I believe I am right in saying that the ball doesn’t have to actually touch the quadrant dude.
Part of the ball just has to be seen to overhang the line of the quadrant.
I get what you mean about what advantage do they get.

Get no advantage at all ... Rules should be changed to a box of say 500 millimetres and all ball has to be in it

Strange how they always try it on but mainly where the linos are not i.e. South East and North West Corners

Stuart Atwell, in the Merseyside Derby yesterday, ran over to a corner at the insistence of the Liverpool fans and made Anthony Gordon move the ball back all of about a quarter of an inch so that it was deemed to be overhanging the quadrant line. Pointless.

Like possession stats, Does not matter. Goals are what count.

The referee seemed to have it in for Gordon, never gave him anything all game, even when  Trent pushed him over on the corner of the box when he'd done him for pace!
