Anyone know what happened-we weren’t allowed down the south stairs in the West Stand stewards mumbling about trouble outside. This despite letting everyone walk down to it through the concourse

Apparently they had already been kicked out of the South stand but found their way back in.

It’s a good job they were. We’d have been looking at 4000 rovers fans otherwise.

Looking once again at all the empty seats mush, I would say that there probably only about 4000 home fans, if that.
A steward told me that Burton brought about 500 fans today.
The official attendance showed  6034 but that includes STs who didn’t bother going.

Annoying thing was my mate was struggling to walk so we had to turn back round. All it needed was a steward to let people know before they got to the stairwell

I was told that the door was being monitored to stop people coming in and rushing onto the pitch to avoid the stewards

And if they had stopped people anywhere else you’d have another poster complaining they needed to use the toilets and weren’t allowed. It was a no win situation for the stewards wherever they stopped people and turned them around.

There was one lad in west stand near me, half pissed and for no reason whatsoever got out of his Seat and started throwing abuse at the stewards, complete bell end.

There was a group of those expelled from the West stood outside the West exit still arguing the toss with security as I went out, it really is pathetic

Speaking of being pissed up, who was the woman in the white top in the South Stand that was prancing around throughout the second half, waving her arms about.

From where I was in the South West Corner, there were a few daft lads acting about but there were a few stewards who were definitely on a power trip!
