Heading up Tomorrow
« on February 09, 2024, 06:43:05 pm by philsky »

Dodgy ticker means from today (after 9 hours in A&E yesterday) I'm on beta blockers.

Here's hoping for not much excitement tomorrow.

I think I'm on safe ground  !!

Bless you. Hope you are ok.
Not there tomorrow, having Togo to Cambridge for a private consultation for my wife’s health as the NHS is crap.
At Grimsby with my son next week, then I won’t be around for a few weeks, having total knee replacement on 19/2. Only been waiting 3.5 years

Its a similar story from me.
My wife suffers chronic pain caused through chemo and it was getting worse. To see NHS Consultant time is 11months. We had to go private, appointment in seven days. The medication works and no pain, great. that's  an example of the NHS failing.

I started bleeding quite heavily, got nicked for speeding on the way to the hospital, saw the surgeon within 40mins of getting there. He had me in in 10days, had the op and it was a successes. Brill treatment by the NHS.

The consultant wrote me a letter confirming it was an emergency. I supported that with a letter proving I was trained to drive at speed and probably broke the speed limit legally 5 times a shift. The police response was tough, you're nicked.

My escapism starts on Saturday at 3 and I just hope its not an embarrassing performance.

Phil

I suppose you would get good advice from your boy!

Philsky will see us win.

Because he’s augmented our defence with better blockers.

Already got me coat.

Phil I hope you're not stressing out about all those seedlings you've got on all your window sills.
Anyway hope the beta blockers sort you out.

Stay. The. f**k. At. Home!

The irony.

Said hello to my mum and headed straight back as hadn’t bargained on the side effects.

Missed the match. Typical :-)
