It's being reported that Johnson is being tipped to be appointed as Special Envoy to Ukraine when he leaves no 10, and Zelenski is all for the move.

With Zelenski's hero status throughout the world, and on here, that's going to create a bit of a problem. After all, he wouldn't get into bed with a buffoon and liar, would he?

He always moaned about others making more money than he did.

I remember reading a quote by someone who knew Johnson well just after he had been elected PM which went something along the lines of 'The people who work with Boris can be divided into two types. Those who believe him and those who know him. And you dont have to work with him long to move from one to the other'.

Difficult to see how Johnson can be an envoy to Ukraine when the detail of his shenanigans with Lebedev are finally laid out in the light. That's the Lebedev whom one of our Five Eyes partners  has identified as an enabler of Putin's War.

Meanwhile it is the UK as a nation that has stood by Ukraine. Zelensky is smart enough to realise that his interests lie with sticking with the UK. Not with a busted flush of an ex-PM. Whatever use Johnson might have been to him as the UK leader has now gone. Because Johnson will have zero influence on UK policy.
