Wimbledon boozers

Where is everyone aiming to be pre match for a few beers? Is Tooting the best area pre match, close to the ground? There are quite a few pubs around that area so wondered if we could decide on a certain pub where Rovers fans can meet before the game.

Used to live in Tooting for a while and rate it for bevs and food (Antelope is a good pub and there's a little portuguese bar called The Secret Bar which does £3.50 pints of Superbock) so you can't go wrong. Closer pubs nearer the ground though - up near Earlsfield.

Last season our group went via Earlsfield station and went into the halfway house like many other Rovers fans. Fancied a change this season though! Thanks for the info

And if you've got a later train back I'd stick around in Tooting for a few and get a curry at either Lahore Karahi or what's now called Royal Mahal but used to be Spice Village.

I'm aiming for the Leather Bottle on same street as Halfway

Check it out * .. The Beer Garden looks amazing and it's a Young's Pub

* Camra Whatpub Earlsfield

Last season they were not allowing away supporters in here pre or post match.

Look at Camra WhatPub and enter Earlsfield

You can select Real Ale to tick Real Ale "box" if that is what you want or if you don't it will show you all Pubs in the area

No that was in Boston, sadly been closed now for many years.
Wonder if Sam and Diane ever got back together afterwards :-]]

Antelope is excellent and there's a micropub in Tooting market which is good.

If you use Facebook it is worth joining the Real Ale Football Away days group - it's run by a Rovers fan https://www.facebook.com/groups/239009263536251

Just in Tooting for a pint now and sadly the Portuguese place is shut for August so no £3.50 superbocks... but yeah, Antelope is great, drinks in Tooting Market too.
