Sack Scott Parker.
Horrible club with dodgy owners and delusions of grandeur. It would make me very happy if they plummeted down the leagues.

I wish they had kept him until Christmas as they are a horrible club, he’s a poor manager and I’ve backed them to be relegated

Will probably throw a massive bag of cash in Sean Dyches direction. He's going to become the new big Sam Mark my words.

The statement talks about sustainable club respect for the club. Scott Parker has been sacked for what he said in interviews about the level of players at the club and requiring better. He’s not got sacked because of results they’ve played and lost to Man City Arsenal and Liverpool beat Aston Villa. They have a crowd of about 11,000 and have spent around £24m this summer. The manager must have known what the parameters where and he’s publicly gone against the club. They have 11 players in the squad who have played in the premier league before. You have one extreme of NFFC who are spending 100 of millions with a bigger attendance and Bournemouth who are spending what they believe they can afford. Who they’ll get has manager will be interesting but it will be a very difficult season for them.

they could become the the new Bradford City   but i doubt they can equal Northampton for dropping divisions in 3 consecutive seasons

lest we forget

In 2008 Bournemouth had 10 points deducted for entering administration and were relegated. In the 2008–09 Football League Two season they started with a 17-point deduction, but after narrowly avoiding relegation from the Football League that season, they were promoted to League One at the end of the following season.

i remember one season there were 3 teams Rotherham Bournemouth and someone else who all started the season on around minus 17 points

If I recall correctly they broke the FFP rules by running a deficit that was something like five times over the limit they were supposed to stick to in the season they were first promoted to the Premier League. So, they bought and cheated their way there, paid a paltry 4m fine which they must have laughed at knowing the windfall coming their way.

Habitual cheats.

They’ll not drop leagues they have the players and funds for the Championship but can’t afford to pay millions for players and wages

Well they were League One Champions a few years ago, well for a couple of minutes
Isn’t this one of the clubs being held up as an example to follow by lots of posters

To some extent arguably they are. I wouldn’t necessarily want us to follow that as it carries huge risks initially, but they’ve been successful in getting to, establishing themselves in and since returning to the Premier League. If that isn’t success for a club that size then I don’t know what is. The problem is that the more success you get, the more people demand. Steve is right to highlight above that there has to be a tipping point. They cannot just keep spending and spending and Scott Parker’s comments indicated he wasn’t on the same page as the club. That’s ultimately his problem, and they’ve shown very quickly that he’s not theirs. I feel for him as it’s harsh, but what he said to the media felt very poorly judged. I’m sure he’ll be back in work soon.

I can think of few clubs less attractive as a model than Bournemouth. They are a huge Ponzi scheme fuelled entirely by debt to their owner (currently upward of £100m) and as a very crude measure, their last accounts showed gate income of £329,000 vs wage bill of £50m. For whatever reason they are still stuck in a stadium which is smaller than Belle Vue when we left and is 30pc smaller than the Eco-Power. It’s a joke club that has seemingly no route to sustainability and a catchment area around the same size as Scunthorpe.

That sort of sums up my feelings about clubs like this who are artificially supported by finance which dwarfs the income from fans. It's just so false. How can it be a fair representation of the people of Bournemouth?

Their catchment area is much larger than Scunthorpe.
Bournemouth,Poole  & Christchurch combined has a substantial population just looked it up and it is 400,000 that is well over 3 times Scunthorpe. They have all of Dorset as a catchment also although it is fairly rural.

It’s 45 minutes from Southampton, an established Premier League club, who will call on some of that catchment area.

Not disputing that for one min CBcb but you put catchment area and they have a substantial one.
No comparison to Scunny.

Yes and that catchment area will be eaten into by Southampton, a larger and more successful club.

More than a chunk of hypocrisy being posted on here.

"CHERRIES owner Maxim Demin shared that the decision to part ways with head coach Scott Parker stemmed from a difference in views on the "strategy to run the club sustainably."

“However, in order for us to keep progressing as a team and a Club as a whole, it is unconditional that we are aligned in our strategy to run the club sustainably.

Don't we have a "strategy to run our club sustainably"

When we won the league in 12/13 Bournemouth came second with a £15m player budget which is a ridiculous amount of money considering the size of Bournemouth and Dean Court surely they broke all the rules of football fair play rules.
