…on his own up front isn’t working, the lad needs some support because he can’t close down or occupy 3 defenders on his own. It also cuts our goal threat down massively.

Tell genius McSheffrey. He seems to be the only one who apparently cannot see this.

Miller will score goals if you give him the service. He'll run about and make runs and that's about it. That's his gig and if we don't play to his strengths then we have 10 men. Not his fault. The fault of the management who still are seemingly unaware of Miller's playing style.

He's not suddenly going to develop the physique of Tyson Fury and start pushing around 2 or 3 6 foot defenders all on his own. Which is why Gary, he needs either SUPPORT from midfield quickly or A PARTNER.

I noticed on Saturday that when Swindon counter attacked it took them about 5 seconds to get about 3 or 5 players on the edge of our penalty area. Players getting up there quickly in support. We just don't do that.

There's a reason why opponents always look so fluid and dangerous when they break at the Eco and we don't, which is a bit scary as we always play on the counter attack now at home whilst we gift the oppositon all the posession.

It’s not necessarily that he can’t play up front on his own, his supply has been abysmal. A forward can only score with good service.

On Saturday he was played through by Tomlin on the run on his left foot again, he doesn't shoot on the run with his left foot, this is the third easy chance he has missed not having the confidence to smack it first time with his left peg.
He needs to be took to one side and have session after session just practicing finishing on the run with his left peg, at the moment it is for standing on only, he could be up there with the top scorers in the division if he would just shoot on the run with his left foot like he does with his right.
In three different games he has been got at by defenders who have run him down because he favours his right foot for shooting.

He needs support from somewhere be it midfield (the gap between him and midfield on Saturday was far too much) or another player up top.
In fact our midfield seemed to have been told not to move either side of the half way line as there was a huge gap between them and our defence too

Selby noticed that but couldn’t determine if he had time to hit or if it was nearer the defender from our angle in West Stand
