I think expecting us to be top 3 this season is stretching it somewhat. I'd maybe agree if we had a fully fit squad but other teams have spent more and also harbour promotion ambitions. I certainly have no expectations of a top 3 finish, although it is certainly attainable.

I'd say a play off spot would be the minimum expected of GM this season and if we aren't in the top 8 by Christmas then get rid.

I also want to see a style of play and enjoy some dominant home performances instead of our usual home tactics which is to play on the counter attack.

Get Maxwell back in tomorrow and shove Rowe into a more aggressive, attacking role.
Top 3 is more than a realistic expectation imo.
Which 3 or more than 3 teams in this league should finish above us Panda?

The only 3 you could possibly make a case for are Bradford, Salford and Mansfield but I think we have a squad to match or better all those teams.
Just my opinion of course.
Admittedly a fully fit Anderson, Olowu, Close, and Griffiths would be significant.

I hope you're right, Camps, but Mansfield and Barrow both looked light years ahead of us.

We'll have a better idea after tomorrow's game.

On the basis of what we have seen this season - and noting that we have only seen 8 league games amounting to 17 per cent of the season - we are nowhere near good enough or consistent enough to go up automatically. There is a long way to go and we could improve dramatically as the newer players bed in and the injured players return, but on the basis of what we have seen, it’s at best 50/50 we are still here next season.

Tactics were all to pot in both games SS. GM got it badly wrong and Cloughie is no mug tactically
Oh and we didn’t turn up at Barrow did we. They are a confident team due to a very good start to the season but let’s face it we gave them more space than there is in the Pacific ocean.
Barrow were the bookies favourite to finish bottom before the season started. They are batting way ahead of where they should be. Will be very surprised if they finish in the top 10 but credit to them for what they have done in the 1st 8 games.

Looking at training pictures. Oluwu is back training and for me needs to go straight back in with Williams

We’ve conceded first in 6 of our 9 league games this season.

We currently only keep clean sheets in 20pc of league games.

A young guy looked like he'd fainted, Andy. He was back on his feet after the medics treated him.

We will go no where with GM in charge. We look totally clueless and have zero attacking threat. Get a proper manger in before it’s too late

How many goals from open play have we scored under GM? Don't expect anyone to look like but it must be one of the lowest of any manager in a job. Less than a goal a game on average i'm sure.

We were obviously very poor last season on that front. With the signings of Tomlin, Miller, Molyneux, Hurst and already having Rowe plus Taylor coming back i'd say we have players to be a threat. The coaching just doesn't exist. At pro level the margins are so tight a team with superior players will lose majority of the time against a team with a plan that's been well practiced if they don't match the organisation and work rate.

Did anyone see the size of that bloke who was on their coaching staff?!!  There's nothing wrong with being on the large side but this bloke was not muscle man but a michelin man. Shocked at that level of obesity from a sports professional.

Some quotes from their forum:

'Donny could be the poorest side we have played, that includes Rochdale who created more chances against us'

'Doncaster looked utterly shite'

'We were better than them. I will give us some credit for them being so shit'

'Doncaster were poor, void of ideas and lacking in confidence'

Other than that, we were great!

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced today's game was a training session
