Not totally sure but i think i read somewhere that when Rochdale were promoted to L1 relatively recently, that was their only promotion for like 500 years or summat.

I've got a message for Dale fans, and for some Rovers fans. It's f*cking League 2 we're all playing in, and you're not going to get free flowing Barcelona-esque football.

You'll get some patches of decent play, and other patches of play that resemble Frickley v Belper.

That's League 2.

Not now Steve. People are paying up to 25 quid a ticket so expectations have risen. Rightly so too IMO. They are 'professionals' in their field of expertise after all.

Then they don't have to come. Yes, they have a right to criticise, after they've forked money out, as long as it's in context.

Let me give you an example. Yesterday at half-time, an old mate of mine, as fat as a pork pig these days, was embarrassing himself in front of a packed men's toilet, shouting and bawling about how he could go on the field and do better than any of them. I told him to calm down.

This was a guy who only ever played for pub teams, and was f*cking crap at that. I could have said so, in front of everybody, but I'm better than that, so spared him the humiliation.

I wish guys like him would just keep away, to be honest.
