Thought he was going to bust a blood vessel, I’ve probably never seen anyone as irate at his own team
At least he wasn’t fighting anyone. It looked like it was fans vs fans fighting in the south stand.

Well I am 67 with a full head of grey hair, so probably not. I have never in my life shouted for the manager to go but at least 3 times I did today as loud as I could as I poosibly could be. I was obviously the Grandfather version of that young man. I can’t believe it got as bad as this. Is Copps going to do something about it though. It’s gone 6-30 & no sign yet he has been dismissed. What are you waiting for?
Could do with being recruited by the Black Bank to lead the singing! Channel his passion. I wonder if he could play drums too?
Finding it easy to be distracted from the game today, I looked around at the people sitting nearby and saw the hurt in their eyes. I'm talking about loyal fans who follow Rovers all over the country, a couple of them actually travel all the way from Harrogate for the "home" games. Another one travels from Gloucester! They have been doing that for years, and they are very near breaking point.

I’ve been in exile in various places for forty years now and I’ve got plenty of experience of driving home after deserved and undeserved defeats but it’s usually tempered by the fact I’ve generally seen some sort of basic competency and effort. Lately though the total absence of any sort of determination and basic footballing nous has made me think there are - for the time being - better ways to spend the best part of £100 on petrol, food and admission and time.

I posted this in 307 Thread straight after Crawley on Tuesday.I think it goes nicely with BBs post aboveThe players in "the old days" used to be sent down a local coal mine to see what their Supporters did , day in day out to earn money to go watch them and when the Team was putting in poor performances to watch what it might be like if they were NOT pro football playersIn those days most of them did have second jobs as pro pay was relatively poorThat's what I think is one of the most galling parts of watching these unacceptable performances. The fans literally jump through hoops to watch "their" Team , paying out hard earned cash , giving up days holidays at work, travelling hours each way as last night which even in a posh modern Coach is a hard ask.Not for them a stay the night before or the night after. No - I can testify yesterday was a slog. OK I'm older - it will be harder for me BUT , there were many on our Coach committed to working today. So a devoted ,8 hour return trip - getting back to ECO at 02.00I went to bed at 3 and got up at 8 (cream crackered) but some of them will have been at work hours already as I write thisAnd what do these Fans get in return ? At the moment barely anything. Some players with limited ability , some who don't look like they careThis is the equivalent of going down the Pit for the olden day players. I don't mean put them on a Coach to Crawley ... But I do ask them to think " do the fans of this Club not deserve better than we collectively are giving them". They KNOW the answer already
