I made a comment a few weeks ago that they’re one of only a few teams that play the same system as we do. 5-2-3 leads itself to not creating anything and conceding loads of chances. It worked for conte in his first season at Chelsea but not in English football since. I think it’s the worst system in football.

At least in that 3 Spurs have Son, Kane and Kulusevski. We have Hurst, Todd Miller and Barlow.

They changed to 4 at the back today and conceded 5 in the first 20mins.

These "fads" in coaching come into and out of fashion at regular intervals.

Im just waiting for the "John Beck kick and rush long ball" tactic to return, was it the original Wimbledon that took that system from the fourth tier right the way to the top division, ultimately beating Liverpool in the FA cup final.

Still think its modern day incarnations still work, especially out our level.

Does anyone think supporters will look back with admiration at this dogs dinner system that our HC is attempting to impose when it finally becomes "another useless formation" confined to history?
