Schofield’s body language decidedly nervous, looking very downbeat and twitchy on the touchline. Has he been given an ulimatum?

i wonder if the penny has dropped?

Gillingham 2-0

gills' recent goalscoring has relegated rovers to fourth worst gd in the lge. and two of them are looking good for the drop.

In the last 30 games we have scored the least amount of goals in the entire league.

i didnt expect to get any result at stevenage tonight.
but once again i wanted to see fight, battle, spirit. team work
a motivational manager on the touchline "kicking every ball" metaphorically with his band of players.
and once again ive seen none of it
this is what hurts the most

I’ve had a good look at Ravenhill now over a few games. I don’t see it, I just do not see him having a career playing pro football at league level.

He’s lightweight, too slow, passing is mostly poor, I just do not see what he offers. He may look better with a stronger group around him, but I’m not sure at all.

We need to develop our younger players. They have not been developed. Again I thought he was one of our better players tonight. He's alongside Close who's a lightweight in a midfield 2. 100% we've needed 3 min centre midfield for the past 2 years but we have never used it. Clueless management is to blame and poor development post youth football in my opinion. The Stevenage commentary thought highly of his game.

That was our 21st defeat this season.   Only Rochdale have lost more times.

I thought the defence did ok tonight, at least they have some stomach for a battle and for me Liam also got stuck in. I still think that 2 or 3 proper players in the front 5 transforms this team.

Bit controversial this but, the more i watch Faulkner the more I think he isnt good enough. And I know the team around him do him no favours at all but hes not great technically and positionally he is all over the place. Next season will be a big one for him in my opinion. James, Long, Close, Ravenhill, Agard also nowhere near good enough. Mitchell, Molyneux, Barlow, Hurst squad players at best.

But some people think that because he likes to put his foot in then he's brilliant. His eagerness to win balls puts him out of position too much and yes isnt brilliant with the ball. Which was a reason why he was farmed out on loan.

He was farmed out on loan because we don't know how to truly develop an exceptional talent. He's the best Rovers product for many a year. He's the one commanding that back line & he's 18.

He is a talent with a future in the professional game I agree, but exceptional is a bit over the top, I'd reserve that word for a young player who is top half premiership champions league and possibly future international. At 18 these players would already be better on the ball, and Bobby isn't fast enough for that level. Top end league 1/lower championship maybe. Still not a bad career.
But people believe he is destined for the very top.
Just my opinion and has I would say for any rovers player, I hope they prove me wrong.

Exceptional in the context of players to come through our academy though. No one will look good in this team. Both Ravenhill, if his contract is extended, and Faulkner would be well served by a full season in national league if they play most weeks.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team against us have such an easy time. The fact we just kept playing ourselves into more trouble by not getting the ball forward is a testament to management team that do not have a clue how to contrive some sort of result from a match like this.

Totally clueless

Exactly I was speaking exceptional in terms of OUR youth team and prospects not Premier Leagues prospects... But he's every bit as promising (or more) than Nelson, Miller, Woltman, That donkey from Birmingham, Brown, Lakin all on loan to help our first team.

So positives in the process then. It looks good but for anyone who watched those 2 games the truth is somewhat different, very different
