Happy with that. Maybe it’s a Chris Balderstone thing?

Pretty impressive hit rate on pens over the last couple of days. I’m guessing much more prep is going into pens in the build up to these games these days.

The league looks very competitive now. Carlisle would have lost some star players had they stayed down.

Rovers, MK Dons, Bradford, Gillingham, Notts, Wrexham, Stockport and Salford the strongest clubs going in to next season shall we say? That’s 8 strong candidates going for 3 automatic places. There’s always a surprise contender at this level too.

Probably add Mansfield Town to that list. Not sure what to make of the other three clubs coming down with MK 'Dons'. They are small but smart.

I always remember being sorry for Carlisle as they went out of the league, good luck to the club.

You look at the signing of Huntington, we along with many others could have signed him on a free, but didn’t. His stability at the back for Carlisle has made the difference among other signings.

Hopefully something Richard Wood will do for us!

Well done, Carlisle. I hated the Stockport fans when they came to the Eco. Arrogant and entitled.

Anyway, it's a better away game at Stockport, so let's hope we can get a fast winger who can take Knoyle to the cleaners.

Totally agree with that

Stockport not going up is bad news for us. When they had 11 men on the pitch against us we weren't even in the game in both fixtures.

That was last seasons team Padge under 2 different youth team coaches who were put in charge of our 1st team.

Agree, but I think it was more that he didn’t want us. Which I’m not sure I blame him after what he saw the last two years.

Very underwhelmed (in the main) by Knoyle that said compared to Brown he is a world beater. Strange that Brown actually seemed an upgrade for his first couple of games and then just couldn’t be arsed

Yeah it’s bad news Stockport staying in the league really. It’s going to be tough next year. Possibly the most competitive L2 for many years

They aren't that good a team. In my opinion Carlisle were the best team out of the 4 in the PO's and thoroughly deserved to go up!

If you look at the table from October Stockport were by far the best team in the league. They just took a few weeks to get going.

Bessie's obviously talking about the performances in the play-offs. Stockport were sh*te at Wembley.

TBF they couldn’t even score against our shaky defence at their place
