Very odd season with Cambridge United. 17 league appearances of which 16 were from the bench. 0 goals. They’ve offered him a contract extension. Glad he is back playing. Weird decision though.

Maybe they used him as a sub when they wanted to try and run games down, hold the ball up,win fouls and that.

He makes Patrick Bamford look durable.

Before he got injured with us, he'd made 195 appearances in the previous 5 seasons. Would have been over 200 but for the COVID season.

The lad was a durable, hard working striker who got a bad injury. There's some absolute nonsense talked on this subject. Player gets a bad injury, therefore he is injury prone.

Eh?

He appeared in every game he was available to play!

He came on as sub against Fleetwood, Tranmere and Rochdale. He started against Bolton and Gillingham and was suspended after that for the red card in that latter match.

He’s not injury prone but he’s had procedures on that injury that have made him physiologically weaker.

Didn’t we ruin him? With the rehab and treatment.
