6 goals for Cambridge last season as an almost ever-present. It will be an interesting one, how this works with Miller next season, what Ironside offers that is different, and how we operate - given most modern sides only play with one striker.

Neil Roberts or Chris Brown (second time around) were never prolific but I'd have them in our team everytime. Takes the pressure off the team when the ball always sticks up top.

So he's actually just a better version of Lavery? If so, I think this is a good decision. Miller looked really isolated at times last season. In the first few games that Lavery played, there was some link-up play with Miller but it petered out.

Lavery was tidy with his link up play at times but Ironside is a far greater physical presence.

I don't know why some people are keeping on with the same tome. Yes, we have been running on a shoestring budget these last 2 years, but all that's changed with Terry's financial boost.

It should be obvious to anyone that Grant McCann, Richard Wood, and Joe Ironside won't have come here for peanuts.
