My observations are very much based on what is visible from the outside, but from this perspective there is every reason to believe that Baldwin is a good CEO. Judged from his public statements during the post-Moore period, his focus seems to have been increasingly towards Club Doncaster which has been commercially successful. This is probably why we heard very little from him during the decline of the footballing fortunes under Moore’s successors when we were told that Blunt had the main executive role at Board level. If Baldwin had been actively involved you would not have expected him to remain silent during those dreadful times like Blunt did. 

It does not seem an unreasonable to conclude that his focus on Club Doncaster was a key loss to the footballing side.

If I dare speculate a little further, the change in organisation would surely have put Copps in the position of providing a footballing perspective, the executive role, which Baldwin would otherwise have occupied, under the Chairman’s overall leadership. The fact that Copps seemed implacable in his support for Schofield did not help. If this scenario is accurate, perhaps Copps silence was as bad as Blunt’s.

I got a lot of personal abuse from one of that group and I should have reported it at least to Twitter if not the police at the time when it culminated in a death wish to me with the words  ‘ the clock is ticking for you and you don’t have long ‘ I assumed he was talking of my age but whatever he was not a normal human being for sure. He said I am also a Chinese communist lover which I thought was surprisingly complimentary in fact
