He played 66 minutes before being "unsaddled"  last Saturday . Today he made good progress and managed an extra minute  ----  today subbed after 67 minutes  after another blankety blank performance

thank goodness we didn't use the blankety blank cheque book and pen to sign him

id have him back in an instant. minus his bad attitude. We look lost upfront without him.

Actually we look lost all over the pitch.

In the last few months he was here he brought absolutely nothing to the team. Good riddance.

When he comes back with Walsall a section of fans will boo him and he will almost certainly score at the south stand end and repeat the celebration he used to do with Olowu.

I wasn't his biggest fan but he performed well enough for us to respect his choice.

He was on short term loan and no affinity to rovers

Dont know why people get arse on, he left a shit team at bottom end of league to go to a shit team mid table closer to home.

I don't make judgements based on hearing 1 side of a story.

All the best to the lad.

I hope he doesn't score against us but when he comes I will put a fiver on him because its inevitable!!!!

He did well but I think we had the best of him this season not having the bad attitude comment, that’s completely unfair. He came across as a great lad.

I think people are conflating McCann’s story about how Faal left with him having a bad attitude, without considering…

- there are two sides to every story
- his agent and/or West Brom might have had more influence on the decision than has been made public
- it might have simply been a case of Walsall being a better move for him location-wise

People are so salty. He was good for us overall. Tailed off in games but he’s a young lad. Done a lot better than the majority of loans we’ve had over the years and tried to engage with supporters. Probably several factors in his decision. Walsall are in a better position than us and a lot closer to home for him. I certainly don’t hold any bad feelings towards how he left and wish him the best of luck in his career which if he works hard with his raw attributes he could end up champ level imo

on Saturday he advanced to 82 minutes before being subbed against Newport

82' J mille Matt replaced Mo Faal

=================

and tonight he started as a sub - but got on late on -- for what it's worth (not a lot)

69' Mo Faal replaced Jamille Matt

Blessing in disguise, as I don’t think Haks would be here otherwise. Cheers Mo!

Walsall’s form has turned around since Mo dropped out of the starting XI.

But he did come off the bench to score his first for them yesterday.

I would just ignore him. Concentrate on backing the players that want to be here and are pulling us away from the bottom end of the league.
Polite applause if he comes on or goes off, remembering how his goals have helped us but thinking that if he hadn’t gone back we wouldn’t now have Haks who seems a better more mature option.
Faal seemed to go off the boil in his last few games with us as maybe his agent was already talking to Walsall.

If we had him added to what we signed in January we would be higher up the table. He did his job while with us, don’t understand why we have to hate a player when he leaves. He was never our player permanently anyway.

He did ok for us and thanks. But thank you for leaving. It opened up other options for GM. We are a better team now since he has left. But like I said, thank you for what he did for us at the time he was here

Instead of giving him some stick, why not turn it around and sing to thank Walsall for taking him?

Finally well done to him ...  he got on the pitch late on and scored a goal on Saturday

You never know what if any problem he might have had in his stay with us

You all remember me raving on about that ringer ilias Chair who QPR loaned out to 4th division Stevenage and he scored 2 brilliant goals out of the blue to rescue a draw at Lincoln years ago.

well the comentator shocked me  over the weekend  by saying he had just been given a years suspended sentence in Belgium for GBH   - he aint' very tall  . yes him that graceful skilful player that would dance around a fly and not hurt it

and played in the semi final of the world cup --- you never know  what personal family or girlfriend problems etc a player might have.

Allegedly him and his mates fell out with another group of tourists in a queue. As they argued he allegedly picked a rock or stone up and hit a guy on the head with it in his hand. Fracturing the man’s skull.

I suspect we wouldn't have signed Adelakun if he was still here
