\"Tut tut tut tut tut.\"

(Australian accent)
\"What's that Skippy?\" \"Sir Stirling Moss has fallen down an elevator shaft and broken both his ankles?\"

I heard this story yestedray.  Sir Stirling fell down a lift shaft for three floors.... IN HIS HOME!  Chuff me sideways, the bloke drove a car at a time when there was no money about!

I'm presuming he has a Willy Wonka-style glass elevator so didnt realise he was stepping off into the abyss.

Remember seeing an article years ago about his house - crammed full of cutting edge gadgets - run the bath by pushing a button in the kitchen, curtains that closed automatically when it went dark. So basically things that were \"cutting edge\" in the 70's ad have probably now turned his house into a death trap.
