Striker targets other than Billy

With Billy seemingly staying at Bramall Lane will Rovers go for another one (or even two) strikers?


We have Brooker (fingers crossed), Fairhurst, Hayter, Copps and Shiels (poss) as our current front options who would you guys, realistically, suggest as targets for SOD and ROK.


Already heard about are interest in Garner but I would go with the following

John Stead
Brett Pitman
Sam Vokes (loan)
Ishmail Miller (loan)
Simeon Jackson
Darius Vassell
Andy Bishop


Perhaps a shot for defender is Callum Davenport?

Stead would be my first choice alternative but I'd still be delighted with Garner.

A cheeky loan bid for west broms chris wood would be good. Looked a real talent and a handful in the world cup and scored a stunner against us.

i dont really mind would just like to have at least 2 more come into the club who can score at least 10 goals per season each! shouldve never put all eggs in 1 basket with BS :/
