Sean O'Driscoll's preparations for next season were further hindered this week when Mark Wilson was forced to miss yesterday's game and the Quorn game after stubbing a toe in training.
Striker Steve Brooker continues to progress, but stayed in Doncaster instead of travelling to Warwick, and worked wih head physio John Dickens back at Cantley Park. However, it is expected that he will join the Rovers squad for their trip down to Devon, with the first match in the South West Cup coming tomorrow evening, when they play Barnstaple.

Allegedly a broken toe.
He's chipped the bone in his big toe. I asked him how he was at half time yesterday as I saw he was on crutches. Reckons he'll be out six weeks but not too gutted as he'll only miss three weeks of competitive football. As others on here have remarked, he is a really nice and pleasant guy.
Chambers, O'Connor and Oster were present but did not play and there was another lad with them who I assumed to be Josh Payne. Shiels was confined to barracks as he has a bug. I noticed that John Dickens was absent and the youth team physio was present with the medical bag.
