Forget the signing of Sharp (or anyone else for that matter), personally I think this is the best story to come out of DRFC all Summer, if only for the lad's sake.

For all the patience and hard work on his part, i'd like to wish him the best of luck for this season and beyond.

Can't blame him but he looked a bit ring rusty tonight. Tried one or two thing that didn't quite come off and he lost the ball. There were a couple of 50/50s he pulled out of but so did many others and given it's a friendly who's bothered !

Enough there to see he knows what it's all about. Give him more game time and he'll be ok.

Great reception for him !

I thought he did ok to say that he hasn't played for 18 months. He put himself about a bit and won a few headers. I'm confident that he will be an asset to us if we can keep him fit.

The reaction he got from the crowd when he came on was fantastic too. I bet he is thrilled to get such a good welcome after such a long lay-off.
