Throw Hayter in

SOD said he's trained all week and wouldn't have any quarms throwing him in for Saturday if necessary.

Would you be tempted ?

I think we've missed his link up, bridging the gap up to Billy, so could be an advantage to play him for an hour.

Also noticed a snippet in Free Press saying SOD may spring some tactical surprises !

Now Brooker's over his virus, are we going to play 2 up front and get some crosses in ? May be actually put the ball in to the box from free kicks ? These would be a surprises for Mr Warnock !!

Wouldn't want to make his injury worse, so I'd maybe save him for Coventry.

Yes definitely if he's totally happy with his fitness. I can see SO'D shaking it up a tad, as for Brooker well maybe now is the time if he's sharp enough.
Please let's not be having 80-85 min. subs though if we're losing, it's usually too late and worst of all too obvious.  :headbang:

Question re subs.

If on Saturday we get to 70 min mark and we're 0-0, they are getting the upper hand but we look as though we might catch them on the break. What would you do ?

o'driscoll always says that you pick the best 11 for that match  so by putting on subs (unless for injuries) you are in effect saying you got it wrong

bit of a lose-lose situation  :headbang:

If they were getting the 'upper hand' that would mean we had probably been 'sussed out' and agoal for them would be the likely outcome DBR. I would 'switch and tweak' slightly to make them think it out again and still hope for the goal on the break.
However I am not SO'D and nor would you want me to be.  ;)

I think that's a fair comment. So what we're saying here is that it's his self esteem that prevents him from making subs early.

I'm intrigued, when did he said that?
