Chris Moyles
« on September 17, 2010, 10:09:11 am by keyser_soze »
Surprised to see this hasn't got a mention on here (and apologies if its hidden in a thread), but we got a bit of coverage on Radio 1 this morning, with Moyles talking about the game and the Kaiser Chiefs - 'Ruby' parody. Gave it a spin and said he'd love to hear the Rovers fans singing 'Donny Donny Donny Donny' after kickoff.

Far from it for us to pander to this arrogant Leeds t**t, how about a quick chorus of 'Donny Donny Donny', followed by a medley of 'Chris Moyles is a w**ker', 'You Fat bas**rd' and finally 'We All Hate Leeds Scum'?

I'm with you    He's a bit of an arrogant SOB at times but he's alright and I like the radio show, plus hearing some of the crap charts songs that are played actually forces me to get out of bed in the morning! It's much more effective (and annoying!) to use the awful sounds of Rihanna or Kesha to wake up in a morning than a conventional alarm.

I've heard \"Chris Moyles\" and \"like\" in the same sentence before, but only with the additional words \"Listening to\" \"is\" and \"having your knackers cleaned with a Brillo pad\".

Me too. Along with a good few million others. After all, if he was doing such a bad job he'd have been binned off the Radio 1 Breakfast show by now. What is his show now? The longest running Brekfast Show in Radio 1 history?

The man is an arsehole. He's made a career out of shouting over people, belittling his 'associates', repeating other peoples jokes louder and passing them as his own. This morning he kept interrupting the news by playing songs because they'd had an instruction to play more music, total contempt for his seniors.

He had a week off recently, and spent the first show playing clips and mocking every slip-up or mistake that Vernon Kay/Sarah Cox had made the week before when they were covering for him, and scorning their 'chatter'. Grade A cnut.

And yet he's got more listeners than his predecessors (Sara Cox included) who did listen to their seniors and played more music... and lost millions of listeners.  He must be doing something right, hence why he's on the prime time radio slot and not his seniors or peers.

I can take him or leave him depending on my mood as mornings are never a happy place for me anyway!  I thought he was at his grumpy best this morning and I like that he can be as tetchy and irritable as I can be and isn't afraid to give someone a (sometimes unjustifiable) mouthful.

Ye mate, Hitler was pretty popular too. That makes him OK does it? But then I'd expect that from someone who still thinks Thatcher was good.

I bet you like Wham.

For the record I'm 40!!!

I hate the majority of the music he plays but there is so little of it you can enjoy the show purely for the talking bits (if you are that way inclined)

Comparing a man who slaughtered thousands of Jews to an individual who plays records and talks for a living - pretty novel. Moyles is fine in my book, if thats a problem for you - tough shit.

As for Thatcher - never caused me or my family a problem, pretty indifferent to her full stop. Someone kept voting her in though, not me I hasten to add, I was far too young.

As for Wham - nope, preferred Spandau Ballet and Bowie to be honest (Id have been about 7 / 8 when Wham were in their hey day).

You f**kwit, I'm just saying that because he's popular doesn't make him good, as you seem to state in your post.

Look, he's a fat slimy ugly Kitson. Might have known you'd be a fan.

You like Wham because they used to be popular and ever so slightly gay.

Ha, first time the fcukwit has responded to me for months, despite laying various bait. I knew the Thatcher lark would get him. He probably loves Wham but is denying it since George went awol. His other musical taste doesn't leave me feeling any more comfortable if I was in a shower with him though. Spandau Ballet and Bowie FFS. There's probably a gay porn film with both them starring.

Quality Mr Don. I do look forward to your responses with Mr TWD. Are you actually one and the same by any chance?

So far you have Mr TWD has the tightest man in the world (with Frosty), the gayest man in the world and a tory voting freak of nature, basically.

As for Fat bas**rd freak Moylesy..........He's not daft, he's made a living out of trying to be one of the lads in the pub and transforming it onto the radio. It's simple, basic, and still novel too many. He was a knob nose from day 1 and still is. He will never be a regular lad and without his forwardness, would be a reclusive Billy no-mates (one that he will no doubt go back too, in time). All he's done is copy Ginger Nut Evans from a mere few years before and every gimp has fallen for it.

Now come on BST, what self respecting repulsive bear would even contemplate mating with Clarkson.... and if she did, I'm darned sure she would eat her own cub if it looked like that...

cant say one way or the other if i like his radio 1 show - but as i dont listen to it then probably not - however the Who Do You Think You are he did tracing the family back to poverty in Ireland is well worth watching - he even breaks down in tears at one point

Even seeing that knob in tears wouldn't soften this old heart I'm afraid. Unless it was because he was having his knackers crushed in a vice, then I'd laugh of course.
