Bloody love this kid. Getting better and better, was shocked he let Forte out of his pocket for his substitution.

Nearly got himself a cheeky goal at the end too.

Agree with what you said, still a little wet behind the ears though, him being caught out of position in the build up to Scunnys goal, although I think the reason for that was he was told to keep tabs of Forte because of his pace. Apart from that a cracking game from the lad and surely worthy of an extension to his contract, better than the current crock of shite that occupies the right back spot in the England team

Agreed.  He was excellent.

Sharp will walk the MoM award for his goals and tireless work, but Dumbuya was quality all game long.  The way he, Sharp and Copps combined down the right in the second half today was absolutely superb.

I felt so sorry for Eddie Nolan at left back for Scunny. Could see the look on his face at the end of the game that he was more than happy it had finished. He was ripped to shreads by Dumbuya and Copps in the second half. Copps just took the piss out of him.

Jimmy O'Connor my MOM - best centre back at club, best right back at club and now in my opinion best left back at the club £5m for any takers! Ha!

Great second half today, and sooner or later some team's gonna get 90 mins of good performance from rovers!

Have to agree mush. Everytime I see this kid play he looks better. I was worried about him defensively in his early games but he looks like another SOD gem

Sharp MOM for me. He could hardly run at the end as he had worked his socks off all game.

Copps had a good game, as did Muzzy, the rest made up for their shocking 1st half displays by stepping it up in the 2nd half.

Still concerned by the number of chances we gave Scunny though. Even when we were on top in the 2nd half, they wasted some great opportunities.

In terms of the level he came from, Dumbuya must be one of the signings of the recent era. OK, it wasn't a huge gamble to sign him as 3rd choice right back on (most likely) low wages but he looks as good as anyone at the back and very comfortable when getting involved in the passing in midfield. Perhaps hasn't been tested by a real bag-of-tricks winger yet but the way he zoomed past Forte all day makes you think it will take a real quality player to show him up.

Had he scored at the end it would have been no more than his performances over the last 6 weeks have deserved.

Agreed, I thought Billy was Billy really, only the goals came with it.

Copps was unplayable.

Muzzy was excellent, although I thought he should have closed down Nolan for the cross a bit better, and he did it again after. He stood off Nolan and waited for Copps to get back and close him down, only trouble was Copps was up the field. It seemed like he was playing to orders in that Sean says 'Copps will close him down. and then you're the 2nd wave of defence Muzzy'. All of us were screaming for him to forget the orders and go and get Nolan.

Contrary to some, I thought Woodsy was excellent too (yes a few stray shots), but his command of the middle with SG was super duper.
