I thought Brooker had supposedly recovered from his recent stomach bug. Disappointed if that's the case and he's not in the squad at all.  :(

It would appear Lord Byron is plan B then - didn't do too bad against Derby when chucked up there and it could be one of those football ironies if he went up front and gave Mills a hard time.

I still think there's more than enough in that 11 for plan A to work though.

Martis may be pushed up front late on if needed, did that job at Watford OK.

Thought Webster looked OK when we pushed him up front v Derby. Think that will probably happen today if we are losing.

It sounds like there's a lot more to come judging by the commentary on Player. Both managers must try to tighten their defences up by the sound of it.

Attacking options appear to have worked. But to conceed Four and according to player with really bad defending we need to get this sorted. Having scored three away from home we should have won this game.

Poor tactics, trying to shut up shop with 20 minutes to go, taking of the player that was running the show, thats why we lost the game, it might have been poor defending but why invite pressure on a defence you know is not the best?

Happens every time we are in front in the second half. If it is going well, then just leave it alone. Something SOD needs to learn from.  You hand the impetus to the opposition and despite 6 defenders on the pitch at the end today, we still couldn't prevent them scoring.

If he has n`t learned by now, he never will, it`s come to the point now when I dread the sight of one of our defensive subs getting ready with 20 minutes left!

I'm always gobsmaacked that, when he's fit, old Mark Wilson doesn't come on with 20 minutes to go to defend a lead. To me, he's the perfect player to bring on for that situation. Calm, able to tackle (!!), keeps it simple, good reader of the game, doesn't fanny about being Flash Harry, breaks up their attacks before they get too close to our suspect back four.

So why does he never come on to do just that then?

I can see the argument that Webster need match fitness, but Hird? I like Hird, but he ain't the man for that job now is he?! Leave Webster up there doing his basket ball thing if he wants to, but Hird??????

I don't understand why we aren't filling the bench. Against Accrington and Derby we used a few Youth Team players to make up the numbers, but for some reason, we won't do that now. Surely its good experience for them to be involved in the first team squad on a match day, even if they're not going to be brought on.

Agree entirely Bob , Willo was certainly the right man for the job. The only reason I can think of is that SO'D didn't think he was fit enough.
If that wasn't the case then SO'D contributed largely to this defeat!
As for Webster, he's just a big lad who is not suitable to play at this level of football.
