Irvine said the other day, strikers need to score and if they dont, they need to assist.

I feel for Heffs because he was scoring for us and got his heart ripped out. If a striker scores, he keeps his place, no?

If Heffs got the chance early doors in the season after he ripped the league up the season before, we could have saved a few bob and not needed the likes of Healy.

I know Heffs has had is issues with injury, but he worked hard to get fit according to SOD, but still got dropped?

No wonder the lads head went down.

It's not just about scoring goals though is it!, yes Heffs did a job and was the best we had at the time but you've got to admit Billy is different class and for me he's worth every penny that the board payed for him.
Give it up now.

Maybe it's a cunning plan by Irvine. Keep him on the bench until xmas then let him loose and he'll start banging them in for fun.

Apparently there were players looking at Irvine on the touchline with their arms outstretched during Tuesday's game, as if to say 'I don't know what you want me to do'!
