So without Billy sharp and now without David Healy, two players who actually sound like they want to play for this football club over mills and shackell who's only thought is money and cud not give 2 shits about Doncaster Rovers u think we wud be in the premier league!!! Cock!!

It suits both to say that mills and shackel wanted what we couldnt offer. Theres no loyalty in football, Sharp would be at piggy lane and Healy in the north East if they had the choice.

Are you saying we are their first choice, cqck?

WRONG!!!!!!!
Mills, Shackell, Sharp and Healy had 2 names in front of them, 2 circled DRFC, Healy over the black cats and Sharp over his beloved blades, they didn't have to come here, we asked they said yes, Mills and Shackell didn't (probably not as black and white with JS)

Come on, lets get real. Two people know what clubs approach the player...the player and the agent. It suits all concerned for our signing to say we were his only ambition. It obviously works when you see naive fans like you.

In all cases there may have been a few more offers on the table, but the bottom line is Mills and Shackell chose not to come here as much as Shar and Healy chose to come here, your making it out like they were forced to come here, they all made a choice.

As far as the naive comment goes, I am not criticising our players or St. Sean O'Driscoll and his management of the club, rather than being stuck up and moaning about defences/wages/transfers look at your username and ask yourself a question? Was what we are doing now your 'boyhood dreams'? Be happy were here, look at what bringing a new striker in can do to the squad rather than looking at what damage not bringing a defender in will do.

Can I mention that the team with the 2nd best defensive record last season but lowest scoring was Swansea, who was pipped to the play off spot by blackpool who had conceded over 50% more than Swansea but managed to score nearly twice as many? So on that clear fact can I ask you a question? Based on the facts in front of you how can you clearly justify that having a better defence is more attactive than a stronger attack?

Not read your full post, sorry, busy.

Anyway, you say that Billy and Healy wanted to come here! Maybe because we met their demands. If another club came in with a few hundred quid a week better deal, they'd have gone the same way as Shacks and Mills.

Money talks, no loyalty in football...end of story.

Hmmm sounds like your lost for words IMO, how about you reply to my full post before anyone on this forum starts taking the sh*t pouring out your mouth seriously, my guess is were all sick of wasting energy replying if you aren't going to interpret posts properly before replying.

Ok just read the rest, and even though it brings nothing new to the table, I will answer.

The fact is, we score goals now that we changed the system slightly. The fact is, we had better defenders especially GH's in recent times, which would see us all the way.

There's no doubt that Shacks and Mills are better than JOC, martis or whatever donkeys you want there.

If we met the likes of Mills and Shacks demands, they'd be in the hoops now. Harsh, not when you spend 1 million plus ott wages on a striker and bring in another that is on at least 10k  a week from us.

My agent mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. Billy's injury probably hurried it on a little bit

Are we to assume that he would have been coming whether or not Billy got crocked ??

Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else

Hiya Mark,Leroy here ;)  How ya doing. There have been rumours linking us to having interest in Healy for Months now, long before Billy got Injured so I would say yes he would have been coming if all parties involved agreed whether Billy got crocked or not.

But unless you have around 10 Million in the bank, you can't do anything personally about bringing them back, learn to get over their absence and start supporting the team we do have, not the team we could have...

Ah,the good old 'glass half empty' approach.....you have the wrong name mate - you dont 'dream' - you work full time on nightmares!
We all know nothing is guaranteed in this game, but please, give him a chance !

My glass would be full if we had, Shackell.

I'm sorry, but I cant sit there and clap if I see a problem.

I see a problem with our defence at the minute.

Shall i just clap for the sake of clapping?

Lets think about this logically, we could have been scrapping around in League 2 or worse after what happened those few years ago. Still at Belle Vue and getting exited that our budget has allowed us to stretch ourselves to signing journeyman Drewe 'elbows' Broughton on a free or Delroy Facey because no one wanted them. Instead we have a first 11 that when fit, can beat anyone in this league (yes we have some positions weaker than others but doesnt every team 'Newcastle '93/94', who almost won the Prem!)

How can you pi$$ and moan after securing the services of a striker who consistently scores at International level and shows just how much the stature of the club has rocketed in the last 5/6 years?

Fair enough for having an opinion mate and creating a debate, but its people like you that generally overshadow the thousands of fans that are grateful for the work and progress that is being made at this club, and potentially lead the powers to ask themselves 'what is the point' when they will never be satisfied. They, being the viewed as the general consensus when in truth 99% of us are overjoyed.

Of the 4 players you named there, i'd take Jimmy any day of any week you care to name. IMO, he's one of the top 3 or 4 players at the club right now.
