sods row with sullivan
« on November 22, 2010, 08:18:24 pm by redpkc »
Having not heard any offical comment of this public shouting row from SOD at Neil Sullivan Do we take it that it was just a normal disagreement of views or was it more serious because public rows like that was could cause problems with the teams spirit. Or with  Neil walking off is his days numbered SOD was very  very angry when he chased after him.

Chased after him at walking pace from where I was stood.

SOD told Radio Sheffield to \"ask Neil\"

If Gary Woods is in goal at Palace, we'll know how serious/damaging it was.

High time that Woods had the odd game anyway, he's not getting any real match practise.

.......... that Woods is given a start, for me Sulli is now costing us as many points as he's saving us, this should certainly be his last season so maybe this is a good time to see what Woods is made of.

Taking nothing away from Sulli though, he has done great for us over the past seasons

I've the same sentiments. Sulli is still a good keeper but he is having more and more dodgy moments that are costing us points. He's ok when it comes to collecting the ball at waist height or above but he's getting dodgier at getting to the low ones.

Time to give Woods a chance and see what he's made of.

Keep Sulli at the club, no doubt at all that he'll be an asset as GK coach. Has he got a coaching badge?

Gary Woods will be getting well pissed off, last time he played it was against Palace. He'll be getting well bored with them.

PS can somebody remind of that goalies name, yer know the one that saves every shot he faces. It just wont come to me.

PPS Did you see Sulli at Preston, he made some fantastic low down saves, sometimes the bloke kicking the ball has the advantage.

It was all a missunderstanding. SOD said something to Sully and he took it the wrong way, thinking SOD had insulted him.
He simply didn't catch it properly.

From where i was stood in the west stand i could hear the language being used and it wasnt something you would find in the dictionary. (lets just say that)     :S

Not blaming sullivan but he has a reputation for falling out with managers doesnt he.

I heard that SOD had a go at Sulli for not warming down with the rest of the players and Sulli replied \"Don't be cheeky to your elders\"

after the game sod was speaking to the players prior to the warm down, when he thought sullie had muttered something under his breath, said something to sullie, sullie walked off, hence why SOD ran after him for an explanation... once they had talked SOD realised he had made a mistake.. and offered his apology.

Team spirit is still as high as ever and hopefully this can now be put to bed.
