Leeds topics

the reason we get all the constant posts about leeds is simple, the majority of the footbaalling people of doncaster are for some reason or another leeds fans.

for some strange reason, the town doesnt have a sport fan base you look at the the doncaster dons (rugby league) attendaces average 600 only 2 tiers away from the super league, doncaster knights (rugby union) average 1500ish they are the tier below the premiership.

there doesnt just need to be a good doncaster rovers marketing campaign, there needs to be some kind of marketing campaign from doncaster council urging locals to suport sports teams as a whole.

with a population of over 250,000 its just rediculous. but then again i bet 70% of the population are that of a diffrent orgin.

Well if we're going down this line of talking about our fellow Yorkshire teams; I'd just like say I can't believe Heffernan didn't get a start at Exeter. His goals would've made all the difference and Wednesday might have only lost 5-2 instead

Seriously though; all 5 goals were really well taken. All football played on the floor. Tisdale is certainly doing the business at Exeter.

Agreed. He's done a fantastic job there on a shoestring budget. I'll be disappointed if we don't make a move for him if SOD goes.

I've yet to work out in my mind what is going on with Mancini and the scarf.....
Fashion? or is he just a nodding dog?

I did miss something with Tisdale though.
He had a tan leather man bag too.

He is ace; just give him the job anyway!

NOOOOOOOOOOO.

Please don't mention Phil Orange.

I can't say on-line (even fashion aside) why he is just not a suitable candidate.

But he really wouldn't be welcome at the Keepmoat, although I'm sure JR will know the background at what went wrong at the KC.
