Problems with travel
« on December 22, 2010, 07:52:07 pm by RedJ »
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's experienced this, but I emailed the lady who does the bus (or at least their email) from Moorends and Thorne last week for a seat for my lad, and I got no reply. Today, I sent a text asking if there was one left, and it was full.

Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know how he'll get to Derby now, chances are we'll have to change our plans. Most inconvenient.

Hi - I manage the email account and I'm really sorry about this but I didn't get your email. I can send you my mobile number as its not me who has received your text

Just sent a text to Brian, I think it is, and he's told me the bus is full. We're taking him now anyway, but thanks for the response.

Ah, not to worry. Never been to Derby, so it'll be a nice day out!

The company I work for has it's offices on Pride Park and I can safely say that Derby is not a nice day out.  ;)

Call at a pub called The Navigation, only a 10 minute walk to the ground.  Very friendly place (Philsky and I went there on National Lewis Guy Day), and the landlord said we could park there no probs.

Thanks RTR! We were gonna find a pub in the city to eat at during the game, but we'll just go there. Cheers

By any chance do you have the address, or is it obvious where it is?
