By all accounts Woods did nothing wrong against Millwall.
I think we need to be looking to the future now, so Woods for me.

Woods hasn't really been tested in either of his games yet as neither Burnley or Millwall presented too much of a threat against us.  I'm happy for Woods to be given a bit of a run but don't write Sulli off just yet.

Never write off an old dog when he's down (or something like that!) I reckon Sully's got a few more big performances left in him before he leaves us. He'll want to go out remembered for his brilliant times with us rather than the awful run we've had.

Id go for woods myself. he's got to be made to feel as though he has a shot at getting into the team on merit before we eventually end up having no choice but to play him. We cant just keep saying 'hes one for the future' cos the future is comin up fast and Sulli , im  sad to say, is not part of it. He's been brilliant for us, i honestly feel he's arguably our best signing since we came back from the conference, but at his age the performances can go just like that. This is the perfect time to give woods a proper go because we're not gettin into the play-offs now and all baring a disaster we'll be safe. The future has arrived for Gary Woods!

I used to go down to watch Wimbledon quite a bit in the mid to late 90's when Sulli was there and supposedly in his prime. He:

a) would not bother to dive when he knew he was beaten.
b) would slice into touch a lot of the back-passes.
c) would make the odd handling error.
d) was a fantastic shot-stopper who would prevent certain goals.

I don't think he's changed that much, other than his kicking has improved.

I think a) above tends to make folk think he's past it, but he has ALWAYS been like that.

Fantastic keeper, and but for Seaman would have played for England (and NO he's not Scottish before anyone starts, he's from feckin' Surrey).

Neither for me, I think we've missed a trick by not having Woods out on loan getting some proper match experience as a result he is too inexperienced in my opinion to be a firm choice as No 1. Sullivan is one of the classiest players we've ever had, but age must catch up on him sooner or later. SOD always makes the point that the search for players never stops, I wonder who is on his list of keepers?

Murphy's out of contract this summer, I think.
