Rovers 'til I die?
« on February 14, 2011, 12:40:18 pm by stoxy001 »
more like rovers 'til we lose a few games, judging by the negativity surrounding me at the game on saturday and the posts on here. it's pathetic.
it's hard to imagine where people think such negative views/attitudes will get them, or whether they think whinging/whining/moaning etc is good for the atmosphere on a match day.

I fully agree with you! But, surely a post like this provokes whinging/whining/moaning etc.

I agree. There's a guy in the SS who always stands up and shouts to the drummer to play such and such, and tells the crowd to get behind the lads. He's annoying as f**k, but he's right. The boys are low on confidence, and f**k all atmosphere in an already soul-less stadium doesn't help.

aye, i sit near him, he makes me laugh cos he's normally taking the piss out of a woman who sits behind him, haha.

funnily enough i think he might have been the same bloke who was trying to rally the fans at the millenium for the JPT final when it felt like we all sang the ball into the net for the winner. can't fault the guy myself.

He'd be a SS legend if he didn't have that irritating voice, and if he got different songs going instead of it always being SO'D's barmy army.

Try sitting next to him

Top lad shame we don't have more willing to get behind the team week in week out like that.

Maybe people ARE Rovers til they die, just not O'Driscoll til they die. Just a thought like.

I don't envy you  but yeah, quality in terms of vocal support. Any chance you could ask him to start singing a bigger variety? :P Yeah, it is a shame, cos he's always at it :P
