Currently at Solihull Moors. I was impressed with him when we played the Moors in a pre-season friendly- he made several really good saves. Yesterday he was excellent, saving a penalty (and blocking the rebound) and producing one world-class block to prevent a certain goal. He's a confident lad, has a good (left-footed) kick on him and he's only 21. I'd like to think Rovers have kept an eye on him since that game. The thing is, if I've spotted his potential, I'm sure other clubs have.
Make no mistake this is one of the 3 main positions in a team, goalkeeper, centre half, centre forward(striker in todays terms).I think we should push the boat out and be looking to spend big to fill this position (havn't a clue who to sign)
Hang on! If you stand still, you go backwards! Sean said so!;-)
Id go for Stuart Nelson from Notts Co had a blinder yesterday. I always thought he was a good prospect, and has now got experience to go with it
I still think Richard Wright could do a good job for us.
