Everyones take on the new kit?
« on June 17, 2011, 09:02:31 pm by Red Rover »
Right, I couldn't resist, felt like a little kid, went and bought my new rovers kit today, wat does everyone think to it?

I really do like it, however...

The shirt's is pretty much exactly the same as last years, apart from different coloured sponsor and the black bits on it, the stripes are the same.

Love the colour of the shorts and socks, altho they are the same design as last year, and I presume last years will now be the reserve for teams with red shorts! (watford)!

On a whole tho, decent! :rtid:

My sentiments exactly. A tad pointless, I thought, though..

Popped into the shop today and imo it was a totally wasted excercise. I won't be buying it . :(

I bought the new shirt (but can justify it as I didn't buy last years.) I like it, I think it's very smart.

If I could change one thing, I'd get rid of \"Rovers Til I Die\" on the back, but you can't have it all.

Ordered one online today. I personally like \"Rovers Till I Die\" on the bottom back of the shirt and hope they never remove it.

personally I love the new shirt, I think the black bits look really nice, as does the little nike logo on the sleeve, and for me the major selling point is that it doesn't have a white block on the back anymore, so if you don't get a name/number printed on it doesn't look a t**t.

I prefer black shorts, but the red ones don't look as bad I thought they would.

I'll be getting the shirt when funds allow.

I feel like probably many others on here do. I say now that I probably won't buy it as it's very similar to last season's and I can't justify buying the new one...

Although I know damn well i'll buy it at some point in the near future because I just can't help myself   :rtid:

Shirt looks like the one from a few years back, N3 promotion season I think.  Good shirt.  I liked last year's and I like this one.

I'd got used to the black shorts and socks, would probably have stuck with them, I think they look better.  That said, I said the same thing about red shorts when we swapped last time.

All in all, ok, better than East Riding Sacks, and getting rid of the white block on the back is good: last season's reminded me of when Wednesdays used to have the same in the early '80s with red numbers, I shall sleep more soundly with this new shirt.  Wish they'd stuck with the black shorts but if we go up this year I'd be happy to do it in cling-film wrap, strap-ons, Havaianas and Diego Maradona/Terry-off-Brookside curly black permed wigs.

No, its one I made up a few weeks ago off a stock Nike template to prompt the club that we'd like \"something like this\".

Lets see what we actually get.....

Is the new kit actually going to be green/white?. We looked at this, but the major feedback was 10 Jockeys playing outfield. Coupled with the stature of some of the Rovers players all they would need is a whip each, et voila.

Could really do with at least knowing the colours of the away kit?

Has anyone who's been in the shop asked if they're getting long-sleeved shirts for adults this season?

Having had my on-line order accepted on Thursday, then to be told that it would be delayed because they didn't have any letters to put on the back, my beautiful new (short sleeved Woking) shirt turned up today in deepest darkest Berkshire.

I Like it, as has been mentioned before, they are quite a bit shorter than the previous version, but none the worse for it as far as I am concerned.

Yes, I asked this morning as it was disappointing to see the limited range of stock that's actually in the shop.

In answer to your question, they don't know.
\"We can only sell what Nike send to us\".....

Disgraceful, is NO ONE at the club pro-active, to at least ask the questions to Nike?

That shirt is that good it would bring Glynn Snodin out of retirement.
