Brighton Ticket prices
« on July 09, 2011, 10:55:16 pm by belton rover »
I realise I may be at risk for an 'A1 or M1', but what are ticket prices for this game?

The reason I ask is that a few days ago, on their website, it said away ticket prices were £24 and £12 for under 16s, but now these prices seem to have disappeared.

Have I just had another strange dream or what?

Help me, please.

Still can't see any mention of tickets arriving from Brighton or when they might come on sale, unusually late getting it sorted aren't they?

I'm guessing it'll be the Monday of the week 3 weeks before the game as it usually is, so should be next Monday if I'm right.

I'd not be surprised if these didn't make general, i cant see the allocation being huge as they'll probably want to maximise home numbers for the first game and with the history of us being the last team to play at the old place i could see there being a lot of additional interest on top of it being the first game of the season.

It's not one to queue through the night for (not that its ever been worthwhile on the occasions people have done this) but it's one to act fast on when they arrive IMO.

By Football League rules, don't they have to give us a minimum of 2,000 tickets anyway unless DRFC agree to a lesser allocation?

Can't see there being a problem. Distance/price/holidays will put quite a few STH off.

I'm sure the away stand (2,575 seats) is just for away fans, so we'll get that amount.

The away end behind the goal is for away fans only, we will get that amount.

If we are given the full 2575 I can't see us selling out but I can see us going close. We only have 4000 season ticket holders and I can only see about 1500 interested. It will make General sale and we will sell around 2400 I reckon including sale on day.

Is that why it's called the away end?

I thought it sounded daft but couldn't be bothered to go find the name of the stand.

Besides in recent years where Brighton is concerned the away end was usually far far AWAY from the blooming pitch...

Well no shit, I was kinda pointing that out when I posted it, It's called the south stand, but it is officially the stand for away fans.
