If you look at the thread on gartom's meeting with JR, you will see the following:

was told last week that JR came to look at away kit and was so annoyed what he saw , so that green kit as gone back, he is putting his weight behind the same pale blue as last years but diffferent style,

plus watch out for billy sharps extra tight shirt arms this year , he has paid for them to be tighter on him because they are baggie on new kit , his words was \"he wants to look like a rugby player this year\"

The people (well most of them) want green.

Why must we pander to JR's Manchester City affections when it comes to the away kit? What has that guy ever done for us huh?
