He was making bad tackles all game. He'd already had a go on Bennett before the tackle on Welsh.

Having said that he was subject to a Keegan special. He certainly adds bite to our midfield.

You really begin to realise how Arsene Wenger feels now when his side are trying to play the game correctly and get kicked off the park because its the only way of stopping them. It doesn't take much for people to say he's a grumbling t**t but you can see why when we're getting exactly the same treatment.

As for John Welsh - its ok apologising after the incident, its not going to make Mason fit for Saturday. Mason has looked sublime in the first two games, just hope its not too serious.

On a positive Mason will have to go back to Spurs to get treatment, so he'll be back in a week fully fit with no recurrance of the injury.

Absolutely ridiculous. I've never seen anything like it.

I remember when we didn't get a penalty for ages despite many blatant ones not being given, then JR put a statement out about it and we got a pen the very next game. Think it was our first season in the Champ. It could be time to do that again about our treatment from the other team. 2 shocking tackles resulting in 2 identical injuries in 2 games... this is not a coincidence I'm afraid. Teams are learning they can't get the ball so they just take the player. It's infuriating especially when it results in gems like Mason and Sharp being put out for months at a time. Disgraceful.

I don't think Wenger's protestations have changed much so can't see little old Donny Rovers getting far.
