Well if that really is a Steve appointment I salute him! Peter Catt knows more about Rovers FOOTBALL as opposed to behind the scenes than anybody else I can think of in the media . I look forward to reading his introductory article and would hazard a guess to say he has been reporting on Rovers for 35 years!

Agreed, I was friends with his son at school and he allowed us to watch the Colin Douglas testimonial from the press box at BV. The second half was cluttered with substitutions of ex players and Mr Catt was able to keep all around informed as to who was coming on etc. Top bloke and great reporter.

Catt could become Top Dog at DRFC website ... Rovers Player .. including player  and Manager and Director interviews AND give us much more positive press / media profile .
