Personally, I'd have Bennett in for Hayter. Thought Hayts looked to be running in treacle at times today, whereas someone with a little pace (as evidenced by Lalkovic) would have got some joy against Palace's defence. I think DS was about to make that swap too, but changed his mind.
Yep. I bet DS has them in today to have an extra day looking at them.I suspect reputations will get you nowhere, which is how it should be. Interesting how yesterday's team could be considered a little \"safe\" in that it was all the most experienced (and fit) players.The bench of Woods, Lalkovic, Hird, Bennett and the returning and not match fit Billy bears that out.
