First i want to say thank you Sean for everything you did for the club, you brought a brand of football to Doncaster Rovers that i never dreamed of seeing and gave us 2 amazing days at the Millenium & Wembley. You are the greatest manager the club has ever had and Deano has a lot to live up to as your replacement. I along with most other fans wanted to see how things wen't over the next 2 home mateches before seeign change but it was clear by your interviews over the last couple of weeks that the stress and preassure seemed to be getting too much and i'm glad the end came now before things could get any worse and you became resented by the fans, and I hope you and RoK find work soon as you both deserve it.

Welcome to DRFC Dean Saunders. I was impressed with your interview today but you have a lot to live up to in regards to replacing SoD. However you will get my full support and i hope you continue our current philosophy in terms of how the game is played. You have the opportunity to take the reigns and become a legend at this club like our previous 2 managers, and i for 1 hope you take it with both hands.

As for all of this happening, well i was woken up by my son at 7.30 this morning who burst into my room saying \"dad dad SoD has been sacked!!\", and at first i thought he was winding me up, so i came downstairs and saw it myself as breaking news on Sky Sports News and on DROS. At first i was angry, deflated, shocked and disappointed and worried that JR would be following SoD as reading the club statement it seemed like JR was overruled by the rest of the board, but as the day's events unfolded it became clear that JR wasn't going anywhere which is the biggest relief because JR is Doncaster Rovers. The biggest disappointment for me however is how the whole thing has been handled, JR has been made to look a 2 faced fool as only yesterday he was saying SoD's job was safe then SoD is sacked a few hours later and it seems that Dean Saunders has known there has been an opportunity for the job for a while. I'm also worried about how the players will react because they were loyal to SoD, some a lot more then others and we have certain players here because SoD was our manager.

Anyway the only way is up now, i'll be there singing and supporting the lads the best i can as usual, lets hope we can get an early goal to lift the tension and come away with 3 points.....
