Sorry Bedale, not true. JR was never sidelined over anything and never would be. He is the football fan on the board as well as the public face and all decisions made and taken were with JR's full cooperation.

We may have to wait for the next instalment of JR's book though to get the full story.

Jr said in some interview ( radio sheff) that he had been looking for another manager for a while, as Sean was attracting a lot of interest from several clubs, I know he turned down burnley, sheff u, portsmouth I heard forest and Ipswich were very keen, so jr is right to have a man earmarked.
