Quote from: \"DonnyBazR0ver\" post=186833See to recall he plays left back, although known for getting forward and getting caught neglecting his defensive duties. Good player and of the two I'd give this fella a chance.Would you want him to replace George in the team ?? (Unless George reverts back to centre half of course)Like I said elsewhere, just seems to me like an expensive Muzzy. Nowhere near as good as he was, for me.As for replacing George, maybe we're pushing Jimmy out to LB? But I suppose you can never have enough cover, especially with good PL experience.

McKay tells the Rovers board that if they get rid of Sean he can arrange for Saunders and some of his stable to come to the club to get us out of a hole...It's like a 40's film noir. Rather worryingly, you may not be wide of the mark there!;)Only a thousand miles or so off the mark, he lives in Doncaster.

Are you going to ask the club to refund all that money you raised in that shameful little player appeal? Come on, do the decent thing.

JR asked for the VSC to help raise some funds for a player, which we obliged with the generosity of the fine users of this board. SOD signed Lalkovic on loan. Not sure which part you think is shameful there.

Sums the situation up well. I'm sure the appeal was started in good faith but events have transpired that leave a nasty taste in the mouth. If the club offered people their money back it would be an excellent bit of PR. I think what I'd like to see is a bit of transparency from the club. There's too many mixed messages coming out. How much influence has McKay now got over the club? Rovers have changed. I believe the fans deserve a proper explanation.
for me - sign him up. Keep martis and naylor in the middle, friend on the left, chimbonda on the right. Exciting times after last night's second half performance. I quite enjoyed the 4-2-4 formation. We should do that more often lol

Hearing a rumour now that the Chimbonda has fallen through. Not sure how reliable the info is.
