A decent first half would be nice.

I'm still in shock! I didn't know we had it in us. Rode our luck may be but the signs are good. Considering the awful first half again, we have got to use the new found confidence and fight, and combine it with more intelligent play.

Once we do it, we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Leeds may be in for a shock !

Has Saunders had the time to assess opposition perhaps? He certainly seems to be able to adjust things on the fly.

HT
Rovers 0-0 Palace
Rovers 0-1 Hull
Posh 1-0 Rovers
1 point

FT
Rovers 1-0 Palace
Rovers 1-1 Hull
Posh 1-2 Rovers
7 points

You know what else. Not only did we win, not only did we comeback to win, but we ALSO played nearly 6 minutes of injury time and dug in and didn't concede... how many could 'hand on heart' say that under SOD we would have held on for the win?

Well done lads and cheers Deano!!

Perhaps we have had the benefit of having one of the best 'coaches' in the land and now one of the best 'managers'.

... and I wasn't bashing SOD. I was simply saying that under SOD we seemed to find it difficult to play a full 90 minutes, and often seemed to concede in last few minutes.

It's nice to now know that we can cope with possible 5-6 minutes injury time and hold on for the points.

We may have underestimated the likes of Cyrstal Palace and Peterborough as both were top half teams. Plus getting a point v Hull who we expect to be strong this season.

Many fancied teams would be 'over the moon' with the points haul in the last 3 fixtures. Let's continue to ride the luck. The harder we work the luckier we'll get !!

It's about time our luck started balancing out anyway! We've gone 8 months without very much!

Boys I've got some bad news, I've been touring Cornwall for the last 2 weeks so have missed all the excitement, hate to say I'll be back for the Leeds match........ now when was the last time I saw a Rovers victory? You have to remember that I was ill for the Middlesboro game and didn't make the Scunthorpe game :chair:

Some of the lads on the coach told me (or rather I overheard) that he hasn't lost a second half in over 18 months.

Sound too hard to believe and that is because its not true. Wrexham lost 3-1 at Barrow less than a month ago with it being 1-1 at half time.

Fair enough - just going by what I heard.
