At least we appear to be getting somewhere. You have actually referred to the Manager by his name and not the ridiculous monicker you refer to him to normally.

Where did I suggest any argument is won or lost?? And I disagree I think there are many posters on here would like us to get beat so they can be proven right.  I don't believe you should abandon your beliefs but I do believe you should be positive about winning yesterday, and look forward to performances and results similar to that of yesterday. What can happen now which will make you feel happier about the way SOD was treated?? Absolutely nothing is going to change that. I was one of SODs biggest fans u can read my posts over the last couple of years the evidence is there for all to see, but nothing can bring him back. We Doncaster supporters so should be supporting the team and our manager to help us get out of this situation were currently in.

You've lost me. I always call him Saunders.

I can't forgive and forget so easily especially when I am convinced the new strategy is deeply flawed and will ultimately lead to the demise of our Championship status and maybe even our league status. I feel it is my duty to stick my head up above the parapet and state the reasons why I feel this way in the hope that others will be persuaded by my arguments and the strategy can be changed before it is too late.

I can't support Saunders because he is complicit in this strategy but I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong and for us to be in the Premiership in 2 years. However I prefer to live in the real world and if the current strategy carries on I will settle for mid table mediocrity in League 1 as a best case scenario. I just hope that when we fall out of the Championship we don't just keep falling through the leagues.

Why not just get behind the club you support and if you're proven right then so be it. It's nothing to be proud of, the demise of your club. Not supporting Saunders is ridiculous he got offered a job and he accepted, he is signing players of the quality we haven't seen before. And he is doing his best for our club. Nothing you say or do is going to effect what Ryan is trying to do, he is doing it with the clubs best interest at heart. Why not get behind him?? We support Doncaster rovers not Sean o Driscoll. We've won a third of our games under Saunders which is good considering our record this year.

Reading the latest posts in this thread I was intending to post a well thought out and reasoned reply - but on second thoughts there is no point arguing with 5 year olds. You are all just trying to prove yourself right and the others wrong, well you are all right - and all wrong! There thats all sorted, now go away and place nicely together - with Seth Bennet..

You are all just trying to prove yourself right and the others wrong,

Isn't that the point of an arguement/debate???
