Shelton Martis

Enough is enough!  He broke his own record yesterday and failed to even make it through the bloody warm up without getting injured.  Every time he breaks into a sprint you just know he will end up limping around.  It really is ridiculous. Shame because he has the basic capabilities to be a n excellent CB but this is a guy that is always going to flatter to deceive.  He is an investment that will never pay off.  Best to cut our losses and retire him on health grounds!

I feel paternal instincts towards Shelton. To me, he doesn't appear to enjoy playing football at all. The slumped shoulders, the hanging head. He looks like a man walking (limping) to the gallows instead of a man being paid a fortune to kick a bag of wind around once a week. Maybe explains the plethora of injuries

Get well soon Shelton. Otherwise Saunders will be playing Gillett at CB.

Dean said he played him with a groin strain and that was a wrong decision.

It's stupid isn't it, playing Martis with a groin strain, but who else did he have?

We had George Friend! Best centre half at the club by a country mile playing in midfield!

Erm the best center half at the club was on the left wing and our best wide player was on the bench, so go figure that out for yourself.

George Friend is the most poor excuse for a defender I have seen bar Nick Fenton
